Senecio and its partner Dynamic Aviation, successfully aerially test Senecio second generation release system. The system enables the automatic release of millions of mosquitoes during a single flight.
Our work was done as part of the BIRD foundation for collaboration between Israel and the USA.
Our second year of collaboration with Dynamic was a great success, during which we have increased the storage capacity for 10,000,000 mosquitoes per trip with their King Air aircraft making it a great tool for large dispersal of sterile mosquitoes from the air over large areas.
We have developed and tested a swath prediction model, and were on spot each test flight !
